Core Policy Directives & Compliance Standards
Research Governance & Ethics
All faculty members and postgraduate scholars must obtain formal ethical clearance from the Institutional Review Board (IRB) / ORIC prior to commencing empirical data collection involving human subjects or proprietary data.
Plagiarism & Turnitin Policy
Strict enforcement of HEC Plagiarism Policy with an overall similarity index threshold of <19% and no single source >5%. All MS theses, funded grant proposals, and conference submissions require an official ORIC Turnitin certificate.
Intellectual Property & Patents
Establishes clear ownership guidelines for inventions and patents developed using KASBIT resources, providing standardized revenue-sharing frameworks for inventors and the university commercialization fund.
Publication Incentives & Grants
Financial and academic recognition policies for publications in HEC Recognized W, X, and Y category journals (including KASBIT Business Journal - KBJ), alongside travel grants for accepted papers at prestigious international symposia.
University-Industry Linkages

KASBIT Business Journal (KBJ) is an HEC Recognized "Y" Category, double-blind peer-reviewed, open access research journal published quarterly. Launched in 2008, KBJ carries Print ISSN: 1994-1609 and Online ISSN: 2072-8018. The journal focuses on business studies and social sciences, encouraging researchers to explore theories useful for the contemporary business environment.
